9. Ruby (Bulldog, one year)
Ruby is a real pleasure to be around! She is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets and likes plenty of fuss and attention. She travels well in a car and while she may only have one eye, she has soooo much to give! She loves being with her human friends and will snuggle with you on the sofa all day long! She has a condition called Dry Eye which will require daily eye drops. We can easily show how to do this and our Vet will discuss in more detail. Ruby will be a great match for a relaxed home with people who are less active and prefer a snuggle monster rather than hill-walker dog! Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
Kaye is a playful 11-month-old Crossbreed who was handed over to us through no fault of his own. Being rehomed at his young age has left him a little wary of new people, but he soon comes around after a few meets, and plenty of tasty treats!. He is social with other dogs out and about but would need to be the only dog in the home for now. He will need a calm household where there wont be lots of visitors and a secure garden will be needed so he can brush up on his housetraining. Part of his settling training involves him having his own space, so an open plan home will not be suitable. Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
Daisy is a really friendly little lady. She loves fuss and attention and gets quite playful if you egg her on! She is VERY foody and seems to really enjoy her training, so teaching her a few tricks will be easy. She is already housetrained, although may need a little refresher as she settles into her new home. She has no manners around other dogs, so she'll need to continue her socialisation training and we'll happily advise on how best to do this. If you are looking for a fun and highly trainable companion, the you might be a great match for Daisy. Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
Cleo is a super sweet 8yr old Yorkshire Terrier Chihuahua Crossbreed who likes her independence! She's very friendly and builds a solid bond over time, but likes to do her own thing too. She isn't interested in other dogs and doesn't appreciate them up in her face, but she doesn't look for trouble and she'll need to be the only pet in her home. She's shown previously that she isn't one for children so she must have an adult only home where she can chill and enjoy a peaceful life. Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
