Pictures: burning taxi in South Shields street
Firefighters have tackled a burning car in South Shields.
A reader sent us these dramatic pictures of the blaze in Victoria Road.
One resident said: "I thought it was my neighbour's car but then I realised it was a taxi on fire.
"It's just gone up in flames."
