Newcastle's Wembley date FINALLY confirmed

The two clubs had been due to meet at Wembley last month.

However, the Premier League fixture was postponed because of Tottenham's FA Cup progress.

And it was today revealed that Newcastle will play their first game at the rebuilt national stadium, which is Tottenham temporary home, on Wednesday, May 9 (8pm kick-off).

The game, which will be United's final away game of the season, will be screen live by Sky Sports.

Newcastle's game against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday, May 5 (3pm) has not been moved for live broadcast.
