Paul Dummett will be available for the club’s visit to Goodison Park, having recovered from a hamstring problem.

And midfielder Jack Colback is closing in on a comeback from his hamstring injury.

Head coach Steve McClaren didn’t have fit left-back for the club’s last game, the 2-1 defeat to Watford late last month.

McClaren said: “Paul Dummett’s been training for three or four days, and Jack’s very, very close.”

Left-back Massadio Haidara is a fortnight away from a return from a knee problem, while striker Papiss Cisse (groin) is “three or four” weeks away from a comeback.

Defender Kevin Mbabu (thigh) is also several weeks away from a return.
