Bees need protecting

With the current bee population in steep decline, I would have thought that the sensible policy would be to try to protect these creatures.

These pesticides pose a real threat to our already threatened environment.

Bees are a vital part of our food chain – not just for honey – but a lot of other food stuffs too through pollination.

Surely, any responsible Government would, at least, consider the ramifications of using dangerous chemicals and dismiss the use of them out of hand.
